The Aleppo Codex is among the most Sacred Texts in all of Judaism. Though created in Tiberias circa 920, it was delivered to the Historic Synagogue of Aleppo in current day Syria (then often called Aram-Zobah) by a descendent of Maimonides in 1375 the place it was preserved till 1947 when Arabic protestors upset by the partition of Palestine stormed and set fireplace to the temple.
